About the Course
Understanding the intricacies of legal research is crucial for the advancement of the legal system and the effective functioning of society. As an integral component of the legal education curriculum, our course focuses on Research Methodology fundamentals.
Designed to cater to the academic needs of students and professionals, this course aims to impart essential knowledge and practical insights into research processes. It provides a comprehensive understanding of the ABCs of Research Methodology, ensuring a balanced and enriching learning experience.
Course Structure
The Course Structure is designed in a way that the learning of Research Methodology can move from Mugging up syndrome to a fun-practical method; from a teaching process to an experimental process, from memorizing to brainstorming, from clearing the examination to feedback learning, from knowledge transfer to knowledge creation, from competitive learning to collaborative learning.
The content of the Online Certificate Course on Research Methodology has been divided into 8 carefully designed modules, which will be shared every week. Study Material is just for Reference as this course is Skill Based Course not Knowledge Based.
Duration
The duration of the course is 4 weeks. The classes will either be on Weekends or in late evenings (7:30 to 8:30 PM) on weekdays. There will be a total of 7 classes.
Faculty
Adv. Gyan Prakash Kesharwani
Mr. Gyan Prakash Kesharwani has bagged Best Speaker, Best Researcher, and Best Mooter awards in conferences and moots respectively during his undergrad studies. Furthermore, he has pursued an LL.M. in IP Law from National Law University Jodhpur, India.
He has extensive law practice relating to the MV Act, Consumer Protection Act, Labour Laws, and IP Law matters. He is also the Chairperson of VidhiAagaz and handles the International Journal of Law Management & Humanities as well as other Journals of VidhiAagaz with the Capacity of Publishing Editor.
Dr. Pooja Dasgupta
Dr. Pooja Dasgupta, hailing from Maharashtra, has an implausible publication background. She is a reviewer at two international journals and has successfully monitored working on newsletters. She has a large number of papers (both national as well as international) to her credit and her perseverance for research knows no boundaries.
Her experience of having worked as an Assistant Professor at renowned institutes is incredible and she is extremely passionate about teaching, research, and reviewer roles. She is also the Editorial Director at VidhiAagaz & its International Journals.
Assessment Process
Terms of Passing: As assignments have to be submitted at the end of 4 weeks. To be eligible to pass the examination of the course a student should secure a minimum passing percentage of 50% i.e. 50 marks out of 100 marks.
Publication of Assignment: Assignments will be sent for review regarding publication in an International Journal or an Edited Book bearing ISBN Number, and will be provided with at least a 40% waiver on the said Journal/Book.
