About the Book
This book seeks to explore the evolving intersection of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and competition law, two legal frameworks that are often seen as conflicting yet essential to modern economies.
On one hand, IPR encourages innovation by granting exclusive rights to creators, while competition law safeguards market fairness by preventing monopolistic practices. The book aims to unpack this delicate balance, examining the legal, economic, and policy challenges at the crossroads of these fields.
Through a collection of insightful chapters, it will provide a holistic view of how law can be used to both foster innovation and promote competitive markets, offering legal scholars, professionals, and policymakers valuable perspectives on this timely issue.
About Call for Chapters
The Call for Chapters invites legal scholars, practitioners, and researchers to contribute to an important conversation on the interaction between IPR and competition law. As these areas of law continue to evolve, we seek chapter contributions that critically analyze how innovation can be encouraged without stifling market competition.
Submissions may address topics such as regulatory frameworks, case studies, global perspectives, or the impact of recent legal developments on both IPR and competition law. By contributing, authors will have the opportunity to shape a comprehensive resource that advances our understanding of how to navigate the complexities of fostering innovation while ensuring fair competition.
