Senior Researcher at Centre for Civil Society (CCS)

Centre for Civil Society (CCS), a non-profit think tank with thematic focus on school education, urban livelihoods and governance, seeks a Senior Researcher.

Role Overview

The Senior Researcher will shape research goals, ensure research outputs inform policy making, develop outreach products and represent CCS at various forums.

Eligibility

  • PhD in Law, Economics, Development Studies, Public Policy, Social Sciences or related fields with 6-8 years of experience in research management.
  • Proven record of primary and secondary research.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in public policy research and team leadership.
  • Experience presenting findings to varied stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated record of research publications in high-quality journals
  • Prior experience in CCS thematic focus areas will be preferred

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new knowledge and evidence in the thematic areas of CCS focus 
  • Conducting research: Everything from conceptualisation to executing primary and secondary data based researches to writing papers and publish in credible peer reviewed journals etc 
  • Disseminating research: Dissemination of researches to different targeted groups to communicate outcomes using various media etc 
  • Managing research: Building the efficient mission-driven team and stakeholder engagement etc
